About Us 
SugarStop Irish Setters is located in beautiful sunny San Diego, California. We proudly own some of the finest bloodlines of Irish Setters in existence today. Our dogs actively compete in the show ring as well as agility and obedience activites. Some of them also serve as Service Dogs. Most importantly, our Irish Setters are our loving companions.
We are avid animal lovers and have owned Irish Setters for over 30 years. As members of the Irish Setter Club of America, we adhere to the Breeder's Code of Ethics. We are past members of the Southern CA Sporting Dog and Irish Setter Club of San Diego, including board member and trophy chair for the last few years.
We have an occasional litter of Puppies and have both show and pet quality puppies. It is our goal to produce sound, healthy, and excellent temperament Irish Setters that conform to the Irish Setter standard. All puppies are sold with health guarantees. When planning a litter, the sire and dam are selected only after accessing health, conformation, and pedigrees. Both sire and dam are certified free of hip dysplasia and eye abnormalities. Our stud dogs are available to approved bitches.
Periodically, we may have adult Irish Setters available. Irish Setter Puppies or adult Irish Setters are available to approved homes; please send us an email or call to discuss if a SugarStop Irish Setter is right for you.
