Slick comes to SugarStop from Cairncross Irish Setters.  He has tons of bone, a lovely dark mahogany coat, and a long elegant Arabian style neck.  He is a big mover and reminds me of a young Arabian stallion. 

He has hit the ground running in his young show career and has 3 Specialty Best Puppy and Reserve Winners Dog at the tender age of 7 and 8 months.   He is shown above with handler Carlos A. Carrizo.  Slick also took 2nd in the 12-18 month class with large class of 17 at the Irish Setter Club of America National Specialty.   

Slick returned home from the Las Vegas Specialty with three 4 point majors on Oct. 14, 2012!  He received his final point two weeks later and now has his AKC Championship at the tender age of 17 months.     We have high hopes for this handsome boy and will let him mature a bit before he hits the Specials ring.
